Tom Nahas Tom Nahas

Tom Nahas, Executive producer, Fire Power Entertainment

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Tom graduated from Duquesne University with a B.S. degree in Business. After graduation, Tom attended Capitol University School of Law and NYU Film School. Tom has worked for several major companies, including Scott Paper Co. and Unisys Corp. where he held a project management position with their international division in London, England. Working for a number of years in Manhattan in the film industry were Tom worked on a number of feature films and in development for Fox Lorber Distribution in NYC, it was a natural fit for Tom to enter into the New York restaurant scene. “Film and television executives frequent high end restaurants on a daily basis and it was a great time for me to learn about the hospitality industry. Working his way into upper management for restaurants such One Fifth Ave. and Bistro Le Steak, in 1998 decided moved to Atlanta to be closer to his family. Then in 2001, he and his partners developed and opened Cherry Restaurant chosen one of Atlanta’s top restaurants and the successful Twisted Taco franchise. Currently, Tom is pleased to come full circle with regards to his film and television roots and has created Fire Power Entertainment (a film and television production company) with Business Partner Quincy Bonds one of the stars of the Tyler Perry show “House of Payne”. “I’m looking forward to becoming a part of this exciting business in Atlanta” where we are developing and filming new and exciting television and film.

Quincy T Bonds was born in Los Angeles California on November 11th 1970. Quincy was raised there until he moved with his mother to Seattle Washington in 1976. Seattle Washington is where he spent most of his childhood and attended Garfield High school, where he was a performing arts student. He participated in many productions and commercials as a child and in middle and high school. Quincy moved to Atlanta to attend Morehouse College in 1989. He graduated with a degree in Marketing and sales. After graduating Quincy worked for several companies including Cox communications. After realizing that he wouldn’t be able to fulfill my goal of success with these companies Quincy decided to go back to my first love which was acting and producing. Quincy then took several classes in the Atlanta area including, a program at the Alliance theatre Kenny Leon’s company. Quincy then went on the Company Actors studio with one of Atlanta’s premier actors Mike Pniewski. After several workshops including some in LA Quincy joined an improve troupe in Atlanta called Whole World theatre where he trained with Lance Krall from the hit show on vh1 called free radio. At Whole world theatre he would find his comedic voice and with the help of several actors from the program would develop my own sketch comedy show called Cotton Pickin comedy Quincy was one of the writer’s producer’s actors and directors of the show. The show included sketch, improve and stand-up comedy all in one show. In addition Quincy started a show called Phat comedy stand up which has been running for over 7yrs now and has played at over 25 venues and books for over 60 comedians in the Atlanta and southeast region of the country. Through his company he was able to get an audition for the Tyler Perry hit sitcom House of Payne which is currently running on TBS and Peachtree television. Quincy plays a character on the show and has done over 17 episodes. Quincy has done several commercials with the Ga lottery, Delta, Cingular, Home Depot and Checkers. Quincy has also had small roles in several local films. As he enters the next phase of his life it is his full intention and personal goal to create, write film and produce his own television shows based on the social theories of life. With the help of a great team of writers, actors and producers this goal is attainable and will become a reality.
